Release: Kyle Pomerleau Joins AEI as a Resident Fellow

Washington, DC (November 18, 2019) – Michael Strain the director of economic policy studies at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), announced today that Kyle Pomerleau, who served most recently as the chief economist and vice president of the Tax Foundation, has joined AEI as a resident fellow. At AEI, his work will focus on tax policy.

Mr. Pomerleau has held several positions at the Tax Foundation, including economist, director of federal projects, and chief economist and vice president. He has an MPP from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy and a BA from the University of Southern Maine.

Mr. Pomerleau has testified before Congress and state legislators and is often quoted in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal.
